A Man and His Dog

The details of this image has been lost to history.  The interaction between these two, however, tells a timeless story. These two look smitten with each other: an unmistakable bond between a dog and their person that has likely existed for thousands of years.

It makes me wonder if in a hundred years from now, when the memories of me have faded from the world, if it might be possible that a picture of Maggie and I might turn up somewhere projecting a bit of the past into someone's present?
